Bailey plate truss:
The truss is welded by upper and lower chords, vertical bars and inclined bars. There are male and female joints at the ends of the upper and lower chords, and there are connecting pin holes of Bailey truss on the joints.
The chord of the truss is composed of two 10 channel steel (back-to-back). On the lower chord, several steel plates with round holes are welded. In the upper and lower chords, there are bolt holes for connecting the strengthened chord and the double-layer truss. In the upper chord, there are four bolt holes for connecting the support frame. The two holes in the middle are for connecting the double row or multi row truss with the same node, The two holes at the two ends are used for cross joint connection. When multi row truss is used as beam or column, the joint of upper and lower truss must be strengthened with support frame.
On the bottom chord, there are four cross beam base plates, above which there are tenons to fix the position of the cross beam on the plane: on the web of the channel steel at the end of the bottom chord, there are two elliptical holes for connecting the wind resistant pull rod.
The vertical members of the truss are all made of 8 ᦇ I-steel, and a square hole is opened on the side of the vertical member near the lower chord, which is used for fixing the cross beam by the cross beam clamp.
The material of truss members is 16Mn, and each truss weighs 270Kg.
Truss connecting pin and safety pin
The truss connecting pin is used to connect two adjacent trusses with a weight of 3kg. There is a small hole for inserting the safety pin at one end of the taper.
It is mainly used to strengthen the bearing capacity of the truss chord. The material and section are the same as the truss top chord, and the structure is different from the truss top chord
One reinforced chord is heavy and two chord bolts are connected with the truss chord.
Bolt specification M36 used to strengthen the connection between chord and truss × 18, material 16Mn, shear force 150kn, tensile force 80KN.
The connection of upper and lower truss is longer than chord bolt, and its structure is the same as chord bolt.
